In day care we received the parent note that this week they are going to talk about plants.
We decided to get a small plant for Anish :) and yesterday we bought him his plant.
Anish really likes his plant. Today evening he wanted me to take him to the patio to sprinkle water on the pot :).He is very much excited!!!

I know I haven’t posted anything for very long time :( I really do not have any time as my little son keeps me busy always.

Well, I have many stories to share starting from team meeting till today. I will give a gist :)
I know I am very much behind :) All of my friends shared everything about our team meeting and they didn’t left anything for me to say :) It was really good and I had a very good time .It was nice to see everyone in person for a first time.
For team building we went to Busch garden which was a blast. Oh ok I didn’t say this first...How I could go to team meeting and Busch garden by leaving Anish?? That was another story...I left Anish in day care.
After a long discussion, hesitation and dilemma, I and my husband decided to leave Anish in day care. And I have to say Anish does not like day care at all. Every day morning when I leave him he used to cry which used to really break my heart, but we decided he should go as his interpersonal skills will improve being with other kids.
Just one month he was in day care .Almost every week he will get sick. At last he ended up with horrible ear infection and he is with us in home for one and a half months nearly.
Our Dr suggested us to take him to the specialist as his ear infection didn’t get cured by antibiotics .Last Friday we took him to ENT and by God’s grace the specialist said that he is alright.
We celebrated my birthday, Anish’s birthday and our anniversary in the month of May and July. I did a mistake of taking Anish to day care on his birthday .I thought Anish would love to be with kids; we bought a birthday cake and took him to day care. The very next minute we entered day care he started to cry .I felt really bad as I made my sweet little son to cry a lot on his birthday:(
We took Anish to Zoo on his birthday. We really had a good time.
As Anish has grown he wanted me to spend much time with him .As I have to work I will spend time with him in the evening, so I couldn’t find much time.
Anyway I think I should update the blog frequently :) I should …..

A Big Mess

My sweet little son felt that I am not keeping the home clean with a very nice smell.

So he brought his shampoo and poured it all over the couch and the carpet ……even though it is funny ……I couldn’t laugh when I realized that I am the one who has to clean all this mess ……..OH NO . “God pls give me Strength”.

Bank Update!

I received my new check books today ……….What do u think … …They corrected my last name????

CRAP ….No

Again I received my check book with the same misspelled last name. What again???

Again I called the bank….. again I shouted …….again they apologized …again they said they will send me another check book (Don’t think why I have used so many “again” Ugh!! that many times I called this bank)

This bank is going to claim bankruptcy just by sending check books to me I think :)

Anish started asking lots of Questions .He hardly speaks few words :) but continuously asking? S by pointing towards almost all the objects .He won’t get tired at all …. He will point and say “Intha” don’t think what “Intha” is :) it is in his language what this is?
I will sometimes get tired answering to his continuous “Intha” and I will say the same answer again and again ….To my surprise he is recognizing that I am repeating same answer again and again ……He will start crying …Funny .

My mom said that I won’t ask much?’S like this …oh may be that’s why I am not too bright :)

Then Luke said when he was young he will ask lots of? S it seems. His parents will go mad by his? S it seems so at last I have to accept the fact Anish is like his dad not like me :(

Last Name!!!!

Few months back I opened a bank Account in a reputed bank. I received my check book in which my last name was misspelled. I called the customer service and said that my last name is misspelled in my check book. The girl said “we apologize for the inconvenience“ I will be ordering for your check book which u will be receiving within 14 business days .I said thanks so much and hanged up my phone thinking how my work got completed within 10 minutes that too with customer service ???

Ok well I received my first month statement it was really nice to see my last name misspelled in my statement. I called the customer service again and said that my last name is misspelled in my statements. And I enquired about my check book status (As I haven’t received it within 14 business days as they said). The Girl said your check book has been shipped and said to correct my last name in statements I have to go to the bank directly.

Ugh!!!!!!!!Ok then we went to the bank directly. We were the only persons at that time in that reputed bank. A lady who was sitting in the front cabin gave us a sluggish look as if we r from some other planet. She called us and I explained that my last name is misspelled and gave her my identity cards. She just get into my account information (cursing me as if I disturbed her nap) and said ur last name is spelled correctly it is not misspelled .I asked her to see my latest statement and said it is misspelled in that. She just stared at the monitor for 5 minutes and said “ok I fixed” from the following sts it will be correct.

My husband said I am damn sure it won’t get corrected in your next statement too. I said no it will be perfect in my next statement. After few days I received some deposit slips from my bank.

I waited for my next statement ………Well I received my next statement and as my husband said my last name was still not correct.

Oops!!! I got irritated and called up the customer service (Before calling I made up my mind that I shouldn’t be good to them) I explained all the full story and asked what is really happening with my account .She said all those “we apologize” story and said u have to go to the bank directly. Hell why?????
My next statement to her is “close my Account”. She might have not expected that. She asked me to wait for a minute and transferred my call to some other person.

Another person came and said welcome to …….BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!!And asked how may I help u ? I asked so do u want me to say the whole story again ??

He understood that I am not in a good mood …….He said no mam i know what ur problem is let me look into ur account ……and after some time he said ……I think u visited the bank on so and so date and there is a note that ur last name has been changed from (correct name) to (wrong name).

CRAP! What the hell was it? Yeah would u believe that beautiful lady in the bank after seeing all my identity cards changed my correct last name to wrong name? Ugh!!! I said I don’t know what to say… He said ok mam we will correct ur last name. Then again I enquired abt my check books .He said it has been noted in ur account that u asked for deposit slips and it has been shipped and there is no note that u asked for check book. OMG !!!!!! I said u guys r recording the calls for Quality purpose just go and hear the conversation that I had previously and check if I asked for deposit slips or check book ……….HE understood something got screwed up …he immediately said we will ship u the check book within 7 business days.

OK now he committed that my following statement will have correct last name and I will receive my check book within 7 business days ……….I am waiting!!!!!!!
CRAP HOW COME THIS BANK IS STILL A REPUTED BANK!!!!!!!!

My friend gave me a very good recipe for cookies and it’s really yummy.

Anish likes it so much…..do u know what he does he will complete one and will come to me will do all sort of actions to take me to the place where I kept the cookies he will point towards the cookie container and will say “cooka “ it is so funny .

He will say cheese as “chezzzz” and “nigh nigh” for night night. What a beautiful language kids has ……

Anish broke, breaking ….Will Break things!!!!

My son is too good he will target one object at a time and will never turn to another object till he breaks the one he targeted :)
List of things that he broke till now:

TV –He like to turn it on and off continuously and one fine day it stopped working.

Cell Phone – He likes to throw the cell phone towards the wall and love to bang it on the floor.

Laptop - Luke’s Laptop doesn’t have one ALT key and yesterday he broke the speakers.

And I don’t remember the count of tea cups he broke

At Present his target is our New TV and my laptop (He hates my laptop and finding a good time to break it) oops BOND laptop :)

1) I don’t like to wake up soon in the morning (when I really have to wake up soon :))
2) I was in beach at the time of Tsumani and I survived (fortunately or unfortunately I don’t know :) )
3) I am too sensitive I can’t even tolerate a small hurdle I will burst out into tears (very bad :( )

This week went really well our product has lotsssss of new things and I am so glad to play around all those …..Very interesting .But do u know one thing which I hate the most in between if I have any doubts and if I ask sarathy he will say why don’t u read the FDS ..I will feel like replying lots of websites are there to learn cooking why doesn’t u cook :)
But anyway the week was full of excitement and happiness not like how it started.

This weekend didn’t started well for me :( I thought of doing get together with my friend but my lovely husband said oh well pls take the car and go :) he knows very well that I cannot drive here as I don’t have my driving license yet so sweet he is ……….
My little son didn’t do much mischief..I think that he understood that I am grumpy …….
Next weekend we need to go buy Halloween costumes for Anish. What shall I get for him??Hmmmmmm What a excitement !!!!!!!

Oh at present my excitement is I am planning to go to Oklahoma to meet my brother (he is too brilliant not like me :) ) he is completing his PhD this December I got to go for his convocation..I am so much waiting for that day………And yes I should say abt my sister in law she is too good and a very good friend of mine she is doing her PhD in Biotechnology.
I started planning for it now itself. Sarathy will go mad if I talk abt this …he is not coming it seems ….I said I am glad u r not coming LOL.

Most of u might have read in “sarathyganesan” blog regarding T mobile .This is just a part of it :)

Sarathy ordered for T- mobile and it went to back order he called them and shouted at them so they sent it the very same day …okay what I did after that ……….sarathy was saying me that when he shouted at them they said that we need to refuse the package in order to cancel the contract and said he is no longer interested in T-Mobile. Can anyone read what is there in others mind??? sarathy thought it seems that if we get it early we can keep the phone instead of refusing the package ..But please note he just had this in his mind and he didn’t speak out .To be honest I don’t know mind reading :).The very next day the UPS man knocked the door with the T-Mobile package. I haven’t even had a second thought it spontaneously came out of my mouth “we r refusing the package” he smiled and didn’t even get the signature from me and said oh well we will return the package (I think he doesn’t like T-Mobile).I came in and said to sarathy proudly ….T-Mobile came and I refused it. Sarathy said oh why if u hasn’t refused it we will be having the phone today .I said oh crap and I ran out to see if he was still there somewhere near. But he was not there. Then I came and said to sarathy this is the one good example that u have to speak out what u think!!!!!!!

So funny now we r back again to the ordering stage :)

My son's latest mischief

Let me start the blog with my 15 months son’s mischief.

Yesterday evening I was cooking and he was running here and there .As I got more involved in cooking I just haven’t kept an eye on him for just 5 minutes. After 5 minutes I realized that he is too calm and might be doing something mischievous .To my expectation he was sitting in the middle surrounded with my entire official papers (H1B approval/SSN receipt/passport and few other docs) .His dad is sooooooo good kept all my docs at the top and kept his docs safely. He was in the greatest confusion I think which one to tear first to put me in greatest trouble and then I think he decided to tear my passport and was holding it in his hands. I just went in and get it from his hands and I could literally see the sadness in his face that his plan to put me in trouble was defeated. Ohhhhhhh !!!!!!!!! “Anish the menace “ :)
